Synopsis

(std-get-drive-list)

Description

std-get-drive-list returns the list of all physical and logical drive letters as uppercase strings.This function makes only sense at systems using drive letters, such as DOS, Windows and OS/2.

Example

(std-get-drive-list)  => ("A" "C" "D" "E" "X" "Y" "Z")

Arguments

None.

Return Value

A list of one character uppercase strings in the range A-Z.

Side Effects

If a network drive connection was lost some time delay may happen. But it does not check if the drive actually exists, just if the operating system had it logically assigned.
