binio-fputs | ![]() ![]() |
(binio-fputs <ostream> <str>|<list-of-str>)
Writes a single ASCIIZ string (0 terminated) or a list of those to an open output stream, opened with (binio-fopen fn "w"), (binio-fopen fn "rw") or (binio-fopen fn "a").
All escape characters or special characters are printed as they are, no special \n to \r\n conversion is done.
(binio-fputs f "\n") just prints one new line character and a 0 to the stream.
Dependant on an external library: so far only binio.fas for ViLL or vlisp
ostream: internal object representation of a binary file, opened for output.
str: either a single string or a list of strings
Currently unspecified
Writes data to an open stream and advances the file pointer.
